  e2rcermics is the blog of Emilka Radlinska. I'm a ceramic artist based in Glasgow, Scotland, and an external Master of Philosophy candidate at the Australian National University, in Canberra, Australia.

  I'm interested in the idea of real and virtual space, and how these spaces are understood in contemporary culture. In particular, I'm exploring the possibility of conceptual parallels between containment as addressed by ceramics theory and practice and the nature of the virtual space occupied by virtual environments such as Second Life.
