A Brief Bio

I was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1974, and moved to Canberra, Australia in 1983.

I completed my undergraduate degree in ceramics at the School of Art, The Australian National University, Canberra in 2002. There, my mentors and teachers included: Janet DeBoos, Greg Daly, Anita McIntyre, Tony Flynn and Hiroe Swen.

I was also lucky enough to be taught by a number of incredible visiting artists, who included Jeroen Bechtold (Netherlands), Fleur Schell (Australia), Trudy Golley (Canada), Kevin Flannegan (Australia) and Alan Watt (Australia) among others.

After graduation I held studios at the Fyshwick Pottery and then at the Strathnairn Arts Association, also in Canberra, Australia.

In 2005 & 2006 I lived in Bowling Green, Ohio, USA, where I was a studio assistant to Beth Cavener Stichter.

I now reside in Edinburgh, Scotland. I’m an MPhil candidate at the ANU School of Art (external student) and a studio holder at the Glasgow Ceramics Studio, WASPS in Glasgow.
