This album contains images of the facilities, staff and students of the GSA Ceramics Department, taken in the Haldane Building on or around the 6th of October, 2007.
Sadly, since that time the management at the Glasgow School of Art have decided to discontinue the undergraduate ceramics degrees offered here. It was the last remaining ceramics department in Scotland offering a full undergraduate degree in the subject. It was also the only ceramics department in the world offering a full undergraduate distance degree.
Currently the department remains open to accommodate students who are still in the process of finishing their studies. The top floor, which was the fourth year area, and where I used to have my space, has now been put to other use.
