This album contains images of the results from last couple of weeks glaze testing.
They are from a single cone 9/10 oxidation firing which was done on Monday 22nd - Tuesday 23rd October 2007 in electric kiln #9 at the Glasgow School of Art Ceramics Department.
The clay bodies used this time were primarily Bone China and Magma Porcelain. They were purchased at the art school clay store at the GSA Ceramics Department.
The tests include a couple more clear glazes also some white matt and white glossy glazes, however there were some unexpected results, as you will see, perhaps due to contamination in the kiln. Some of the tests will need to be repeated to be sure.
