Artmag!
There is a small mention of my work in the Design section of a local arts magazine Artmag. The bone china tea light holder featured is something that I make to order. Each one is slightly different, as the patterns are drilled by hand and evolve naturally as I work around the piece. They are £24 each and usually about 5cm tall – so something unobtrusive but beautiful to help set the mood at your table at dinner, and you don’t have to lean around them when talking to your guests!
To order some just drop me an email at emilka (dot) radlinska (at) gmail (dot) com. You should also check out my work on a couple of other websites – Glasgow Ceramics Studio (where I work – go to “Meet the Makers” and Parade Artists – an artists’ collective I belong to.
There is a small typo in the Artmag listing – it should say “after practicing and teaching ceramics in Australia…” – and not what it says, but oh well, these things happen. It is correct in the sense that I did live in the US for a while, where I worked as a studio assistant for the amazing and very talented Beth Cavener Stichter before coming to Glasgow, but that’s as far as it is. I’d like to thank the Artmag team for including my work in this issue.
